Activity is run by ‘GREATER BOMBAY SCIENCE TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION’ (GBSTA)

OBJECTIVE: To ignite interest about science. Use activities to create long lasting images. Develop diverse thinking habits

Science Enrichment Programme (SEP): : Activity based science learning since 2014. Registration already started for 2024-25

a) Structure of SEP programme

  1. It is a three-year integrated programme from standard 7th
  2. Programme is designed for 32 Sundays per academic year.
  3. Training period: 32 Sundays, 4 Hours per Sunday

  1. Theory as well as practical sessions.
  2. Expert teachers.
  3. Learning by doing
  4. Field visits, workshops, discussions.
  5. Seminar with seniors: Words of wisdom from alumni and their parents.
  6. Encouragement to prepare and appear for IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad)
  7. Guidance for registration at various stages.

Placed at various institutes of national and international repute like IISc, IISER, NISER, IIIT, IIT etc.

TIMELINE

1) 32 SUNDAYS. Each Sunday two lectures
2) 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. AND 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with one break
